Manufacturing Associate (Part-Time Nights)
Location: Hartford, WI
Pay: Starting at $17.50 / hour, based on relevant experience and work history
Shift Differential: Additional $0.75/hour for night shift
Schedule: Part-time nights on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule
Applicants must be able to commit to one of the following schedules:
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & every other Sunday (7:00 am - 7:00 pm)
    OR
  • Thursday, Friday & every other Sunday (7:00 am - 7:00 pm)

Please Note: These schedules rotate with their assigned production crew as part of our 2-3-2 manufacturing schedule. Reliable attendance and the ability to consistently work your assigned rotation are essential for training, team coverage, and operational success.

Position Summary
Quad is seeking dependable Manufacturing Associates to join our Hartford manufacturing team on the night shift.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn the printing and bindery process from the ground up in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Many employees who begin in this role advance into full-time Machine Operator positions, making it an ideal starting point for individuals looking to build a long-term manufacturing career.
What You'll Do
  • Remove finished products from bindery equipment.
  • Stack, organize, bundle, and prepare products for shipping.
  • Transfer products onto pallets, tables, collator hoppers, or into mail bags.
  • Move materials using hand jacks, motorized Raymond (Big Joe) lifts, or forklifts (training provided).
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Assist with special handwork and customer-specific finishing requests.
  • Communicate effectively with production team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Manufacturing, printing, warehouse, production, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform job duties, follow work instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to read and understand basic measurements.
  • Basic computer and touchscreen skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
  • Ability to lift 10-20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to move materials between pallets and work surfaces throughout the shift.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and dependability.
