Description

The Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is seeking an energetic and positive staff member to provide Reference and Circulation support coverage. The Public Services Support works varied shifts at all four library branches each week to cover shifts due to vacations and meetings. Additional substitute hours will be available.


Job Type:

Part-time - Approximately 16 hours per week (32 hours per pay period) including every Sunday during the school year (September through May). Two-week schedules are posted 14 days ahead of time.


Pay Rate - $19.43/hour for reference assignments and $15.21/hour for circulation assignments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior customer service and computer experience in a library setting preferred
  • Ability to be completely flexible with varied schedules each week. Hours of operation are Mondays-Thursdays 9am to 9pm, Fridays & Saturdays 9am to 5 pm and Sundays 1pm to 5 pm (September through May).
  • Have reliable transportation to all branches
  • Ability and willingness to learn and perform routine library procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
