Collaboration with other staff members is common to ensure smooth workflow and coverage, and part time roles can often serve as a valuable entry point for those considering a longer-term library career.

Is it hard to get hired as a librarian?

Getting hired as a part-time librarian can be competitive, often requiring relevant education such as a master's degree in library science and experience with library management systems.
