Position Summary
The Kitchen Steward (Union) is responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the kitchen and restaurants by maintaining cleanliness standards through the operation of dishwashing equipment and sinks, polishing silverware, removing garbage, cleaning of equipment and work areas including the sweeping and mopping of floors. The Kitchen Steward will also assist in general food preparation for events. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $18.05-$22.56 (per CBA).
Benefits are per the union agreement.
This position will remain open until July 17th, 2026.
About the Venue
Allegiant Stadium is the technologically-advanced stadium that is the home of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team and hosts world-class entertainment including concerts and special sporting events.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in inventory management, which includes restocking supplies when necessary.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with waste management procedure.
  • Clean all pots and pans along with cleaning and maintaining kitchens and stewarding
  • Follow and maintain knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Cleans kitchen equipment and practices all HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures.
  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures.
  • Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
  • Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
  • Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
  • Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
  • Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
  • Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Helps load and unload supplies and product.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proven ability to read and understand directions.
  • Ability to adapt to production requirements.
  • Ability to work a variable work schedule (including evenings, holidays, overnights and weekends, as required), depending upon event and business requirements.

  • Abitlity to obatain and /or Possess valid SNHD food handling card.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
