Job description

Company Description
Public diplomacy is at the core of the J-1 Visa exchange program. Our students learn about American culture, customs and ideals while living with American host families and attending high school. Host families in return learn about the customs, culture and ideals of the students they host. FIEA has close partnerships with overseas agents that carefully screen and select students with the appropriate age, background, English language skills and attitude for participating in the international exchange program, while American host families are screened through a process that includes a criminal background check, home inspection and host family interview.
Job Description
Work with foreign exchange students in your community. As a Local Representative, you will recruit volunteer host families, serve as the liaison with local high schools, and provide support for the exchange students. All of our Representatives are provided with excellent training and support by their Area Directors and the Home Office. We work with over 20 different countries, and every student speaks English, is fully medically insured, and brings their own money for personal expenses.
Work on a flexible basis from home, earn travel incentives, and other bonuses. Each complete placement is paid a highly competitive fee to the Local Representative that completes the placement, with monthly supplemental income for supervision throughout the school year.
Qualifications
Affinity for teens, international interest, marketing abilities, excellent communication skills, and detail oriented. Affiliations with local schools, media, volunteer organizations, etc. are highly desirable.
