Schedule: Part Time
Pay Range: Up to $42 Hour

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intake Therapist to complete comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments for patients entering our inpatient psychiatric program. In this role, you will be the first clinical point of contact-gathering essential history, evaluating patient needs, determining appropriate levels of care, and initiating individualized treatment recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments, risk evaluations, and diagnostic interviews for new admissions
  • Determine immediate treatment needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to establish individualized care plans
  • Communicate clinical findings to physicians, nurses, and treatment staff to support timely and accurate patient placement
  • Assist with crisis intervention, including de-escalation and safety planning
  • Provide orientation to new patients regarding program expectations and therapeutic processes
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in compliance with state, federal, and facility standards
  • Participate in treatment planning meetings and support coordination of care and discharge planning as needed

Qualifications
  • Master's/ Bachelors degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Current Colorado licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC/LCSW-Candidate) required
  • Experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, and/or substance use treatment settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and crisis-intervention skills
  • Effective communication, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
