Job description

Northeast Community College is seeking a part-time Intake Specialist in our Adult Education Program: 


The Adult Education Intake Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current Adult Education learners at Northeast Community College. This position is responsible for coordinating student intake, registration, assessment, orientation, and data management activities while ensuring compliance with federal and state Adult Education requirements. The Intake Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate student records, monitoring program data quality, supporting student retention efforts, and providing exceptional customer service to adult learners throughout their educational journey.

The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. 


Experience: Customer service experience preferred.


Skills: Requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of computers and ability to learn and operate computer-based learning programs. Must be dedicated to student success and possess the ability to work with non-traditional and culturally diverse learners.
