Job description

As a Human Resources Generalist/Crew Scheduler at our Rome, GA Plant, you will collaborate with a diverse group of people and perspectives. Your attention to detail and multitasking skills will be crucial as you strategize on operating plans and impact the bottom line with forward-thinking initiatives. This role is based on-site at our Rome, GA Plant, working between 11am-7pm EST. Flexibility with overtime, including some weekends, is required.
You'll be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and efficiency. The team is known for its diverse perspectives and strong partnership with Shift Operations. You'll have opportunities to work on extra stretch projects, network with leadership, and be involved in various aspects of HR and crew scheduling.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
  • Data-Driven- Reporting on HR metrics, performing personnel file maintenance, and administering leaves of absence.
  • Drive Efficiency- Contributing to efficient operations and maintaining labor relations by accurately scheduling employees according to the plant's collective bargaining agreements.
  • Collaboration is Key-Partnering with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints.

We're Looking for Someone With
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior HR experience with strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed

Compensation
The annual salary range is $51,300 - $66,600, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
