Job Summary

The HR Assistant will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, compliance, and general administrative duties. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
  • Post job openings on multiple job boards and social media platforms
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews
  • Prepare onboarding paperwork for new hires
  • Maintain employee files and HR records
  • Verify employment eligibility (I-9) and assist with E-Verify
  • Assist with background checks and drug screening coordination
  • Enter and maintain employee information in the HR system
  • Answer employee questions regarding onboarding and company policies
  • Assist with payroll preparation by reviewing employee time records
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information
