Speech Therapist, Part time

The successful candidate:

Hours: Part-time 8:00am - 4:30pm, between Mon - Fri (3 days)

A registered professional Speech and Language Pathologist who delivers individualized comprehensive care to patients through the rehabilitation department utilizing therapeutic use of self, innovative technology and collaboration among patients. 

Speech Therapist is responsible for providing Dysphagia rehabilitation and speech therapy in the hospital and clinical setting to facilitate the development and rehabilitation of patients based on total assessment and written evaluation which is appropriate to the patient’s medical condition to achieve an optimum level of function for each patient.

Requirements:

  • Must have a master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an ASHA approved school of Speech and Language Pathology;

  • Must acquire a current temporary license or pass the State Licensure examination.

  • Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)

  • CPR card required

  • 2 years oncology hospital experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of modified barium swallow study
