Job description

SCHEDULE *PART TIME*

Rotating days: 2:30pm-11:00pm; every other Saturday

*3 Days/8 hour shift = one work day will always be Friday

WORK LOCATION

Arnett Hospital-Starbucks 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and serve high-quality Starbucks beverages in accordance with standardized recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation. 

  • Learn and maintain proficiency in Starbucks drink preparation, including espresso beverages, teas, cold drinks, and seasonal offerings.

  • Perform food preparation duties such as warming, assembling, and packaging food items while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels by restocking ingredients, supplies, and retail products throughout shifts.

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by routinely cleaning dining areas, service counters, equipment, and workstations.

  • Remove trash and recyclables promptly, adhering to hospital sanitation and infection control standards.

  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred. 

  • No experience is required. 

  • Prior food service experience is preferred. 

  • Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment. 

  • Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc. 

  • Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption. 

  • Requires the ability to climb ladders.
