This job is a 0.6 full-time equivalent (FTE) at 24 hours per week.
Position Summary: The Help Desk Analyst at WMCC is responsible for assisting employees and other Information Technology personnel with administration of WMCC’s information systems and completion of projects.
Typical Job Requirements:
  • Each day STRIVE to make a difference for your co-workers and the patients.
  • Responsible to reflect the organizations Core Values in every interaction while at WMCC.
  • Support of all technology related systems for WMCC staff and affiliated partners.
  • Assists WMCC staff in resolving hardware and software related problems and questions.
  • Effectively assist in hardware and software upgrade, and hardware and software deployment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions where there is no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise and the like.
Required Education: Associates degree in related field.
Required Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of two years networking experience with Windows servers required. Advanced knowledge of and proficiency with personal computer hardware and software is highly desired. Experience in desktop imaging and application deployment also highly desired. An expert in supporting and maintaining desktops in an Active Directory environment. Previous experience in health care environment highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal skill to interact effectively with management, employees, peers and the public. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to use critical thinking to interpret, comprehend and complete complicated and detailed projects in a timely manner. Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently. High degree of integrity to keep confidential all information related to WMCC patients, employees, physicians, and institution related information. Ability to accept and apply feedback.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift general office supplies or equipment often. Ability to work under and around office furniture and equipment in order to work on or set-up technology. Requires sitting/standing for long periods. Manual dexterity required to use computer keyboard or other office equipment. Excellent visual and auditory acuity necessary.
