Position Overview
Groundskeeper assists Service Manager in carrying out the service processes of the property, focusing on, but not limited to the cleaning and upkeep of the property grounds and common areas.
Success in this role requires a strong commitment to service, safety, and quality, while consistently demonstrating Ginkgo's core values through daily interactions and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Physically walk the property on a frequent basis and remove litter and debris from the grounds.
  • Keep common areas such as pool, laundry, mail room etc free of litter at all times.
  • Clean clubhouse and common areas daily to include trash removal, vacuum, mop etc.
  • Assist with maintenance of building exteriors and assist with interiors as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • 1 year of maintenance, janitorial, landscaping experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Hours for this position are Monday - Friday. 5 hours per shift.

โ€ข Agility & Positioning: Ability to work in confined or awkward spaces, including crawlspaces, under equipment, or in kneeling or crouched positions
โ€ข Climbing: Ability to safely climb ladders and stairs, including accessing rooftops and elevated areas for maintenance tasks (e.g., HVAC systems)
โ€ข Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, and controls with precision
โ€ข Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a variety of environments, including exposure to heat, cold, noise, humidity, dust, and chemicals
โ€ข Strength & Endurance: Ability to push, pull, and maneuver equipment, materials, and tools as required for maintenance tasks
โ€ข Vision & Hearing: Sufficient visual acuity to read technical documents and identify issues in low-light conditions; ability to hear and interpret equipment sounds for diagnostic purposes
