**Join Our Team as a Part-Time Groundskeeper at Dville Village and Riverview Apartments!**
Are you passionate about maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? Do you take pride in creating a welcoming environment for communities? Dville Village and Riverview Apartments in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, is looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week.

Pay rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: M-F, 8:00am - 1:00pm


**Position Summary:**
As a Groundskeeper, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our properties are clean, safe, and inviting. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the grounds by picking up trash, cleaning hallways, assisting with trash-outs of vacated units, and even snow removal when needed.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Pick up trash on the grounds and keep the area tidy.
- Clean out hallways to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Assist with snow removal to maintain safety during winter months.
- Handle trash-outs of vacated units, which may include removing debris, furniture, and appliances, as well as performing minor repairs and painting.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Property Management team.
**Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements:**
- High school diploma or GED.
- Less than one year of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions and communicate effectively in small groups.
- Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve routine problems.
- Beginner computer skills.
**Training Requirements:**
- Fair Housing training will be provided.
**Physical Demands:**
- Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle tasks.
- Lift up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift 26-100 pounds.
- Occasionally talk or hear; rarely sit, climb, or balance.
**Work Environment:**
- Work outdoors year-round in moderate noise environments.
- Occasionally work in wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and near mechanical parts or airborne particles.
