Position SummaryThe Program Coordinator will provide administrative and clerical support to Transfer Center operations. The role will also focus on coordinating logistics and creating materials for transfer related events, workshops, and university partner activities. The Program Coordinator will serve as a point of contact for communication between Transfer Center staff, various campus departments and students. The position will provide front line support to students and assist with basic intake processes, respond to routine questions and assist with appointment scheduling when needed.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $27.30 and has a maximum of 28 hours per week. - Demonstrate strong customer service through a positive attitude, approachability and desire to support Transfer Center operations
- Provide administrative support to office staff as needed
- Coordinate and maintain university partner visitation schedules
- Coordinate the logistics, marketing and implementation of Transfer Center events
- Assist with creating communication and marketing plans that promote Transfer Center support services
- Other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate by the Director
Requirements - Minimum of an associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of demonstrated office/clerical experience required
- Experience supporting event planning and coordination, including logistics, registration tracking, and follow-up processes preferred
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva Design, or similar software preferred
- Professional verbal and written communication skills required
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet established deadlines required
- Excellent customer service skills demonstrating the ability to assist staff and students with accurate information and timely support required
