Coaching4Change is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities and strengthening school communities by mobilizing college students to support low-income K-12 school districts. Through strategic partnerships with schools, Coaching4Change develops future educators while helping improve student engagement, school culture, and academic success.

Position Summary

Coaching4Change is seeking a highly organized and experienced Part-Time Grant Writer to support the organization's fundraising and development efforts. This position is responsible for identifying grant opportunities, preparing compelling proposals, managing grant reporting requirements, and maintaining relationships with foundation and corporate funders. The Grant Writer will collaborate closely with leadership and program staff to gather data, communicate program impact, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Research and identify foundation and corporate grant opportunities.
  • Write and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and funding requests.
  • Manage grant application timelines, reporting requirements, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with leadership and program staff to gather data and program outcomes.
  • Prepare grant reports and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
  • Maintain accurate grant records and stewardship communications with funders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong grant writing, editing, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience researching and cultivating foundation and corporate funding sources.
  • Knowledge of grant budgets, reporting requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and grant management systems.

Qualifications
