Job description

Job Summary

As a Creative Kids Movement Network Teacher, you will be providing on-site dance and yoga programs in childcare centers, nursery schools, and elementary schools within your defined territory. This is not just a job, but rather an opportunity to build your own business over the course of 12 months, at which point you will become a full-time business owner within your defined territory.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations within your geography, including class scheduling, sales calls, and any communications with providers and parents. Implement marketing plans including in-person calls to prospective sites, teach on-site promotional classes to attract more families to enroll their children and be sure to deliver and mail any promotional literature to get more sites to participate as well as increase enrollment in participating sites. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including quality standards and operational guidelines. Monitor financial performance, analyze sales data, and make necessary adjustments to maximize profitability. Actively participate in ongoing training and development programs provided by CKMN including weekly virtual coaching calls and active participation on CKMN Community Slack Channel.

Experience with Dance (tap, jazz, ballet) and Yoga Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit Proven leadership and management skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Training, Compensation, and Goals May-June will consist of Creative Kids Movement Network training, making sales calls to sign on prospective providers, making follow up calls in person and by phone and distributing marketing literature in the field.

Paid summer classes and demonstration classes begin July of 2025. Weekly starting pay $40/hr. This will be a "part time" position until enough classes have been started and projected for the beginning of the fall semester (Minimum of 10 hours per week to start). The target number of classes is 20 by September 1st, 2025, but there is no cap on the number of classes for fall of 2025 and there are bonus incentives for every class over 20. This position starts part-time, around 10 hours per week.

Initially, your main responsibility will be visiting daycares and preschools to set up dance and/or yoga classes. The goal is to establish 20 classes for the summer session and 30 classes for the school year. By the end of June 2026, you'll transition to a full-time business owner of a company that you've built. This is a home-based business (home office), with all classes taught on-site at the daycares. *CKMN is currently in the franchise development phase.

After completing your first full year as a Creative Kids Movement Network employee and finishing the 1-year owner trainee program, you will officially become a CKMN Franchise Owner, effective July 1st, 2026.
