Summary:

Join our team as a Distribution Driver and play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to designated locations. We are looking for a reliable individual who is committed to providing exceptional customer service through prompt and professional deliveries.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, to transport goods to customers' locations.
  • Load and unload merchandise manual heavy lifting.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products while maintaining the quality of goods during transportation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner during deliveries.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to guarantee the safety of both yourself and other road users.
  • Keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with meal production staff to ensure accurate picking and packing of orders for delivery.
  • Maintain delivery and cleaning logs and documentation accurately for record-keeping purposes.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR).
  • Availability: Ability to work a Sunday – Thursday schedule, between 10 am – 3 pm or other assigned schedule.
  • Physical Demands: Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading merchandise.
  • Driving Skills: Ability to safely operate various types of delivery vehicles and a commitment to adhering to all traffic laws.
  • Navigation: Proficient navigation skills using GPS and knowledge of local routes to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication skills with a focus on professionalism, courtesy, and representing the company well.

*Employment contingent on Clean Driving Record and ability to be added to our Insurance Policy**
