Job description

Tufts Medicine – Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join our OB-Gyn Hospitalist team.

Join a highly collaborative and supportive OB-Gyn Hospitalist program where you will work closely alongside another OB Hospitalist and Certified Nurse Midwives, sharing responsibilities in a team-based care model designed to promote both clinical excellence and work-life balance. Our Lowell-based team is known for its collegial culture, strong nursing partnership, and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. You’ll practice in an environment where collaboration is prioritized and providers are well-supported across all shifts.

Position Highlights
  • Nocturnist schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 12 shifts per month, offering excellent flexibility
  • Shared coverage model with OB Hospitalists and CNMs, 24/7
  • 1800 Deliveries Annually – Shared between OB-Gyn Hospitalist Team & OBGYN Generalist Team
  • Dedicated support from in-house Anesthesia, Pediatrics, and ICU teams 24/7
  • Opportunity to focus on inpatient obstetrics and consultative gynecology
Your Collaborative Role
  • Provide obstetrical care on Labor & Delivery
  • Manage OBED evaluations and admissions
  • Perform gynecologic consults and urgent care
  • Consultative role with Family Medicine Attendings
  • Collaborate closely with midwives, nursing staff, and physician colleagues
  • Participate in quality initiatives and patient safety programs

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $262,811 - $303,485 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
