Job description

Rio Grande Community College is seeking applicants for a part-time Support Specialist at the Jackson Center (Ohio).
This afternoon/evening part-time position will assist with the following:
  • Communicating with and assisting potential students seeking information about the college and offerings at the Jackson Center
  • Communicating with and assisting currently enrolled students at the Jackson Center
  • Completing various administrative functions such as filing, processing student registrations and bookstore orders, etc.
  • Assist the Director as needed with daily operational functions
Position Qualifications:
Associate’s degree preferred. Two years of experience in an office setting is also preferred. Applicant must have strong written and oral communication skills, be highly organized, possess strong computer skills, and demonstrate a commitment to the importance of higher education. Must be available for evening hours.
