As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage site entry, monitor access points, verify credentials, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying visitor, contractor, and employee credentials; documenting entries and exits; and following site-specific access protocols.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
