Job description

Job Type: Part Time (Day/Evening Shift and every other weekend) Day shift: 6am -2pm and Evening shift: 2pm - 10pm
Basic Function: Responsible for providing sisters with desired services in a caring, safe and efficient manner. Qualified sisters will be provided with Attendant Care, Homemaker Services and Companion Care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assisting sisters with activities of daily living, including cleaning, bathing, dining, laundry and use of personal medical equipment.
  • Assist through serving line or carry meal to room
  • Medication reminders
  • Providing assistance with vital and weight checks
Qualifications:
  • Working computer knowledge; specifically Microsoft Word,Excel and Outlook Email is a must.
  • Previous health care experience is a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work with the elderly and ill.
Physical Demands:
  • May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop and kneel to provide services for the sisters.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Work Environment:
  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
