Recreation Aide - Heather Heights
We have just the job for you! Heather Heights is NOW HIRING A FULL TIME (30 hours) Recreation Aide or PART TIME (20 Hours). Includes every other weekend.
Come be a vibrant Recreational Aide and make a difference in our residents' lives.
In this role you will be expected to:
  • Interact with residents and understand their needs and limitations with respect and empathy
  • Develop, lead and engage in diverse activities that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities including but not limited to, arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, music sessions, outings, Holidays and special events
  • Encourage the participation and social interaction of residents during group activities
  • Monitor the behaviors and outcomes of an activity ensuring positive feedback and engagement
  • Provide individual attention and planning to residents based upon his or her needs or interests, honoring residents' requests is our specialty!

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift over 25 pounds
