Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)  Kihei, Maui

*RBT's work in a pre-school like setting helping kids with autism learn and grow. Pay starts at $24 an hour, part time and full time hours are available. If you like working with kids this might be a great position for you!

*RBT's work 1 on 1 with a child with autism, helping them work on communication, sharing, making friends, and learning everyday skills.

*No experience is necessary! We will train you and give you all the information and support you need to feel confident.

Malama Pono Autism Center is growing and looking to hire individuals interested in learning how to make a difference in the lives of children with autism. No experience is necessary! We provide full training to prepare you to get your Registered Behavior Technician certification. Successful candidates will have high energy, enjoy working with children, work well with a team of others, and have a consistent schedule.

  • Have at least a high school diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years or older

  • Can pass background screening

  • Ability to work in Kihei

  • This role requires frequent movement, including sitting on the floor, standing, bending, and responding quickly to client needs. Candidates must be able to lift or assist clients and equipment up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
