Job description

The Onboarding and Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for supporting the employee onboarding process and coordinating staff schedules to ensure smooth operations. This role assists with new hire orientation, employment compliance tasks (including I-9 processing), and maintains accurate scheduling to meet organizational needs.

Assignment Duration

  • Temporary position through August or September (based on organizational needs)

Schedule

  • Part-Time
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays (specific hours can be defined as needed)

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & New Hire Support

  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding processes
  • Assist with employee orientation, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience
  • Prepare onboarding materials and ensure completion of required documentation
  • Process and verify Form I-9 documentation in compliance with federal guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records

Scheduling Coordination

  • Develop and maintain employee schedules based on operational needs
  • Communicate schedules and updates clearly to staff
  • Coordinate shift coverage and assist with last-minute staffing needs
  • Track and manage time-off requests and availability

Administrative & Compliance Support

  • Ensure onboarding and scheduling practices align with organizational policies
  • Support HR or leadership with general administrative tasks as needed
  • Maintain organized filing systems for onboarding and scheduling records
