In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating project execution, managing teams and resources, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The Construction Manager plays a critical leadership role by fostering collaboration across project teams, maintaining strong communication with stakeholders, and upholding the standards that drive operational excellence across our construction operations. What You'll Do:

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage telecommunication construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with Project Management team to execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of project teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure high performance and adherence to project standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project specifications and design plans.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, utility companies, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Ensure proper resource planning and logistics management for materials and equipment.

Quality Control and Safety:

  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with safety and quality standards.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

Budget and Cost Management:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunication construction management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and cable systems.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • In-depth understanding of construction safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

  • Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Military supervisory experience a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Must perform work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple projects and perform under pressure
