General Function

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be primarily responsible for overseeing and providing clinical oversight to a team of behavior technicians, while developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Education/Experience/Training/Certifications

At minimum, a Master’s Degree in ABA or related field

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities

Current BCBA certification and LBA

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Conducts assessments and develops individualized treatment plans for clients

Provides clinical oversight and supervision to a team of behavior technicians

Trains behavior technicians and parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention plans

Supervise RBTs

Conducts weekly supervisions and parent trainings to caseload

Collects and analyzes data to monitor client progress and make treatment adjustments as necessary

Collaborates with other healthcare providers and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with company policies and regulations

Participates in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain BCBA certification

Develops, plans and implements program goals, objectives, personnel, resources and equipment

Working Conditions

The work environment includes the clinic and clients homes.

Some lifting and physical exertion may be required.

Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate client needs (evenings hours 3:00pm-7:30pm, Saturdays on a rotating basis).

Ability to efficiently write and communicate verbally as part of a healthcare team.

Ability to work supportively with other professionals and staff.

Ability to travel to in-home sessions within Wayne County

Skills to meet strength and lifting requirements.
