About the Role:
Join PARK EAST ACADEMY INC as a Part-time Montessori Guide and inspire young minds in a nurturing environment! We are seeking passionate educators who are dedicated to fostering a love of learning through the Montessori method.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate engaging Montessori lessons and activities tailored to children's interests.
  • Observe and assess student progress to adapt learning experiences accordingly.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's development.
  • Maintain classroom materials and resources to ensure they are accessible and organized.
  • Encourage independence and self-directed learning in students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Promote positive social interactions and conflict resolution among students.
  • Work schedule 2:30pm - 6:00pm (contact us if another schedule may work for you part-time). 
Requirements:
  • Montessori certified
  • Experience working with children aged 3-6 in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Background check clearance and CPR/First Aid certification.
