UWMC AIRLIFT NORTHWEST has an outstanding opportunity for a PART TIME - VARIABLE SHIFT - COMMUNICATIONS QUALITY PROGRAM SPECIALIST.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Airlift Northwest is the region's premier critical care transport service providing rotor-wing, fixed-wing, and ground critical care transport operations across a complex multi-state system.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
  • Supports operational quality initiatives within a high-acuity emergency and air medical communications center
  • Support for quality assurance, operational review, workflow consistency, education support, operational analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Airlift Northwest Communications Center

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITES
  • Conduct routine operational quality reviews related to communication center workflows, dispatch coordination, documentation practices, paging processes, operational communication, and mission coordination activities
  • Review calls and tapes to ensure alignment with current policies and procedures
  • Assist with review and follow-up of communication center operational concerns, workflow issues, and operational event reviews
  • Identify operational trends, recurring workflow concerns, communication gaps, and opportunities for improvement or standardization

REQUREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Emergency Management, Communications, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field

Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Airlift Northwest is dedicated to providing safe, efficient and compassionate air medical transport for critically ill and injured infants, children and adults, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The region's first air medical transport service, Airlift Northwest has flown more than 100,000 patients since its founding in 1982. Its helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft are strategically located at eight bases throughout the Pacific Northwest and Southeast Alaska.
