Job description

We are looking for 2 Part-Time Massage Therapists - to help Serve Our Veterans
Thrive Proactive Health in Virginia Beach is seeking two part-time Licensed Massage Therapists to join our growing clinical team. Due to a significant increase in VA Community Care authorizations, we are expanding our capacity to serve the military veterans in our community.
This work is incredibly meaningful. Many of the veterans we treat live with chronic pain, postural dysfunction, stress injuries, and long-standing musculoskeletal conditions. Massage therapy plays a powerful role in helping them regain mobility, reduce pain, and restore quality of life. If you are someone who feels called to serve those who have served our country, this opportunity may be a strong fit.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active NPI number (or willingness to get one with our assistance)
  • Active CAQH profile (or willingness to complete the credentialing process)
  • Licensed Massage Therapist in Virginia
  • Strong understanding of musculoskeletal assessment, postural dysfunction, and breathing mechanics
  • Genuine desire to help veterans improve function and manage chronic pain

Credentialing
Therapists who already have an NPI and CAQH are strongly preferred as they can begin treating VA patients sooner. However, we understand the process and are willing to guide the credentialing process for the right candidate. Please note that the credentialing process can take up to 3-5 months, so therapists who are not yet credentialed must be willing to commit to at least one year with our team.
Who Thrives Here
We are looking for therapists who are:
  • Reliable and accountable
  • Genuine and compassionate
  • Clinically minded and curious
  • Passionate about solving musculoskeletal and postural dysfunction
  • Motivated by making a real difference in people's lives

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that values clinical excellence, integrity, and meaningful service.
If you are someone who wants your work to truly matter, we would love to hear from you.
