Job description

Play a key role in architecture and development of advanced verification environments for complex SoC components, while ensuring on time, one time best-in-class quality. Work in the field of Semiconductors and Microelectronics, particularly in the verification of NVME and PCIe-based SSD products. Help design a wide range of solutions from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks. Perform design verification using a variety of methodologies, flows, and quality metrics, including simulation and product testing. Develop UVM-based SV test-benches and define block, sub-system, and SOC top level test plans. Utilize specialized knowledge of Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe) and Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) to design and develop NVMe-based products. Analyze and drive new tool requirements and features in vendor tools. Develop and improve the DV flow. Verify and complete the quality check for front end design by ensuring all performance, coverage, and bug rate metrics are met. Develop UVM based SV test benches. Develop test sequences for Avery NVMe VIP. Debug simulations using VCS simulator. Debug waveforms using Verdi debugger. Debug emulation on Zebu emulator. Manage project goals and timelines, assigning and tracking team member tasks. Interface with multiple teams, including architecture, design, firmware, fpga, emulation, and post-silicon bring-up. May telecommute part-time.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, followed by 10 years of Progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an Engineer-related occupation. Position requires:
1. Perl, Python, PCIE, NVME, UVM, and System Verilog.
2. ASIC simulation tools and verification methods.
3. Defining verification architecture, including block, subsystem, and SOC level test plans.
4. Verification flows, including test implementation, debug, metrics driven coverage closure, and root cause analysis.
5. Testing, debugging and developing FW for simulation, emulation, and acceleration platforms.
6. Writing block-level and SoC test-plans.
