Job description

About Ola Sol

Ola Sol is a premium agave wine that delivers the refreshing taste of tequila with half the alcohol and calories. We're pioneering a new low-ABV wine & spirits category in the alcohol beverage industry and we want you to launch and grow our presence in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This is a career-defining opportunity to sell a new product with zero competition in its category.

The Role

We're hiring a Beverage Sales Representative / Alcohol Sales Manager who knows the San Francisco peninsula and surrounding. Experience in wine, spirits, or alcohol beverage sales is a plus, but not required. What matters most is being a natural salesperson who loves building relationships, winning new accounts, and driving sales volume. In other words: If you're passionate about getting your local bars & restaurants stocked up with a product you love, and you're motivated to hit monthly KPIs on your own part-time schedule, we want to meet you.

You'll represent Ola Sol across on-premise and off-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, and retailers) while working closely with distributor partners.

While we're open to meeting potential full-time candidates, this role is designed to be a part-time role with specific KPIs that you can meet with a flexible, self-designed schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Drive alcohol beverage sales: Open new accounts, build strong relationships, and secure re-orders.
  • Tell the Ola Sol story: Educate distributors, retailers, bartenders, and consumers about agave wine.
  • Build cocktail programs: Create easy-to-implement offerings that increase volume and margin.
  • Work the market: think several days per week calling on accounts (bars, restaurants, retail).
  • Distributor management: Partner with our distributor team to keep Ola Sol in front of their customers, gaining warm introductions to potential accounts, and presenting in distributor sales meetings.
  • Plan & execute strategy: Develop monthly sales plans, manage budgets, and hit KPIs autonomously.
  • Host trainings & tastings: Conduct brand education and build awareness through events.
  • Stay compliant: Ensure all sales practices follow state & company laws/policies.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience.
  • If you've been in beverage/alcohol sales, even better!
  • Strong knowledge of the local hospitality and beverage market - account relationships a plus.
  • Passion for wine, agave, and cocktail culture (you know how to make a great margarita).
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter who thrives in a new category sales environment.
  • Skilled at relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Organized, results-oriented, and comfortable with both strategy and execution.
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Compensation & Perks

  • Monthly retainer + uncapped commission/bonus (expected 1525% of salary).
  • Make your own schedule with flexible structure: Part-time, contract, or full-time considered.
  • Ground-floor opportunity to build a career in alcohol beverage sales leadership.

Other Notes

  • Sales brokers and independent beverage sales reps welcome to apply.

The pay range for this role in a part-time capacity is expected to be $2,500 monthly, plus uncapped commission. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
