Jefferson Radiology is seeking a patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our growing team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mammography Technologist provides excellent patient care by producing and evaluating screening and diagnostic general x-ray and mammography images as ordered by the referring physician. The successful Mammography Technologist is a "super user" on JR X-Ray and Mammography equipment and demonstrates competency in Mammography examinations and patient care.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Connecticut State Radiologic License, required
  • ARRT Certification, required
  • CPR (BLS) Certification, required
  • ARRT Mammography certification, preferred. Candidates without their Mammography certification will be expected to obtain Mammography certification within 12 months from date of hire or 6 months from becoming board eligible.
  • Bachelor's degree in science-related field and experience and training in Bone Densitometry, preferred.
  • Experience with radiology information systems, preferred.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills.

Pay range for this position is $37.00 - $49.50.
