Interim AI/ML Engineering Consultant (Medical Imaging)Position Overview

Our client, an innovative healthcare technology organization, is seeking an Interim AI/ML Engineering Consultant to lead the development of AI-powered imaging and reporting solutions. This individual will leverage large-scale medical imaging datasets to build machine learning models that identify abnormalities, prioritize critical studies, automate report generation, and enhance radiology workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for medical imaging applications.
  • Build intelligent reporting tools that generate draft radiology findings and patient-friendly summaries.
  • Develop solutions that detect abnormalities and prioritize urgent cases.
  • Integrate AI applications with PACS, RIS, DICOM, and related healthcare technologies.
  • Support product implementation, customer onboarding, and user training.
  • Collaborate with clinical and technical stakeholders to enhance workflow efficiency and product capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership for AI solution architecture, deployment, and optimization.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience developing AI/ML solutions in production environments.
  • Strong expertise with Python and modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience in computer vision, deep learning, or medical imaging analytics.
