HOURLY RATE:  $13.63 per hour
RESPONSIBLE TO: Cafeteria Manager/Food Service Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:          
     
1.   Knowledge in the use and care of equipment and utensils used in the preparation  of food                                  
 




 
  1. Good computation skills.
 
 
 
  1. Ability to get along with students, faculty and coworkers.
 
 
 
  1. High School diploma or equivalent desired.
 
 
 
  1. Cafeteria experience or equivalent helpful.
 
 
 
  1. Must possess and maintain a good attendance record.
 
 
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:  
The position is assigned the serving and portioning of food specific to their job title.  To serve the students attractive, palliative and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.  Supports all team nutrition concepts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists the first cook in the preparation of foods in accordance with standardized recipes and menus.
2. Transports food to counters and stores leftovers based on National Sanitation Foundation guidelines.
3. Cleans cafeteria tables, faculty dining and serving area.
4. Washes cooking utensils and returns them to proper storage.
5. Maintains general cleanliness in work areas.
6. Must be able to participate in wall washing, floor care, equipment cleaning and pots and pan washing
