JOB SUMMARY:

A Painter provides support to the manufacturing team by repairing damaged painted components (painted rail panel, fiberglass fronts, Ski Tow Bars, Wakeboard Towers, Etc) and received components in a safe and efficient manner to assist with efficient product flow and ensuring that Polaris Marine customers receive product that meets or exceeds Polaris Marine quality expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Inspect parts from specified vendors to ensure Polaris Marine standards are being met by specified suppliers

Safely operate paint application equipment

Conduct all paint operations within Polaris Marine safety guidelines

Regularly cover multiple roles within the department on an as needed basis

Consistently and accurately inspect items painted or repaired by paint department assigned individuals to ensure that Polaris Marine standards are met or exceeded

Prep. Paint surface E.G. - Tape, Mask, Sand & Buff, etc.

Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area and organized work area

Must be able to already be or to become respirator use approved

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

At least 3 years of automotive paint application experience

Ability to see a task to completion with minimal supervision

Succeed in a fast-paced work environment

Excellent time management / organization skills and attention to detail

Positive attitude, Problem Solving, and Communication skills

Commitment to providing an excellent customer experience

Willing to work overtime and Saturdays when necessary to meet production demand

Must be willing to cross train

Must be able to lift 40 Pounds frequently

Must be able to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
