Position Summary

The Paint Line Operator is responsible for preparing, hanging, coating, inspecting, and

packaging metal products through the powder coating process. This position ensures all

products meet quality standards while maintaining production efficiency, workplace

safety, and equipment cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Load and unload metal components onto the overhead conveyor system.

- Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and inspecting surfaces.

- Operate powder coating equipment, spray guns, wash systems, and curing

ovens as assigned.

- Apply powder coating evenly to achieve required thickness, color, and finish

specifications.

- Monitor conveyor line and oven temperatures to ensure proper curing.

- Inspect finished products for:

- Coverage

- Color consistency

- Surface defects

- Paint adhesion

-Overall quality

- Perform touch-up work when necessary.

- Package finished products according to company specifications.

- Maintain production records and complete quality documentation.

-Assist with color changes and cleaning of powder coating equipment.

-Perform routine preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.

-Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.

- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies, including proper use of Personal

-Protective Equipment (PPE).

-Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production

schedules.
