JOB SUMMARY This role involves supporting manufacturing and engineering at customer sites by maintaining communication on daily projects and line issues, troubleshooting painting problems, and providing recommendations. The position requires assisting customers with operational challenges, managing paint-related tasks like consumption, inventory, and ordering, and collecting/analyzing crucial process data. Additionally, the role supports plant quality reporting, demand forecasting, and customer projects while building strong professional relationships. Key Responsibilities • Support relationships with manufacturing and engineering at customer sites. • Maintain key communication regarding daily projects and line issues. • Respond to questions and concerns regarding product lines and general operations. • Troubleshoot and resolve painting issues and problems by providing recommendations related to product, application, inventory, and general paint process. • Assist customers to overcome line problems, gather data, and collect material samples for analysis, testing, and reporting. • Assist with daily paint consumption, invoices, inventory, and paint ordering. • Communicate data collection, including Viscosity and Temperature data, appearance data using Wave Scan, and film build collection devices. • Collect and analyze data to understand process performance. • Report data collection results summaries internally and to the customer as required. • Notify appropriate parties if data reveals results outside of expectations. • Support monthly plant quality reports for customers, making recommendations regarding specification and quality ranges (e.g., viscosity, appearance limits, color tolerances). • Assist with customer demand forecast, on-site inventory, and product orders. • Support customer projects and test requests, following up for details and reviewing results. • Report out project results with the customer if requested. • Build relationships at all levels and help the team deliver value.
