We are looking for Paint Line Operators. This position will be located in Pomona, CA
Working Hours are 5AM - 1:30PM
Hourly Pay is $19.98 with raise evaluations every six months.
The Paint Line Operator will move materials through the painting process by handling, positioning, hanging, and operating machines. They will also ensure paint quality for all processed parts.
You'll make a difference by:
  • Hangs, loads, places, and removes parts/materials from paint line conveyor or any other paint line machinery.
  • Verifies and processes work orders in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
  • Marks coated parts with identifying information.
  • Inspects coated materials for paint defects and makes repairs as applicable.
  • Initiates scrap tickets to generate part replacement orders.
  • Accurately discards scrap and/or defected materials not serviceable.
  • Operates paint-line machinery (e.g. paint-booth, wash tanks, curing oven, and burn-off oven).
  • Manually sprays hard to paint parts to help achieve 100% quality paint coverage.
  • Performs and documents common routine testing conducted in paint lines (e.g. ground test, viscosity test, etc.).
  • Tests water samples for conformance to specification (e.g. pH levels).
  • Adds specified chemicals to water tanks in order to reach proper chemical levels.
  • Accurately drains holding tank in compliance with applicable safety regulatory laws.
  • Observes, inspects and performs routine testing of machine gauges, dials, or other indicators to detect defects or deviations from standards, and makes adjustments.
  • Cleans and maintains machines, equipment, and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Basic shop math
  • Basic computer skills , and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools
  • Abilities:
  • Needs to be capable of speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending the English language
  • Needs to be capable of working standing for the duration of the shift
  • Required to have the ability to reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material
  • Needs the ability to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and handle materials.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb
