What You'll Do:
  • Perform titration test & trouble shoot chemical concentricity (mix) and pH level variations.
  • Monitor & troubleshoot the automated guns and spray systems to ensure effective coverage to a variety of sized and shaped products.
  • Replace Wash System Chemical as required.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Pre-Treat system and ensure the waste solution does not exceed environmental limitations.
  • Maintain Powder in proper containers and storage requirements.
  • Prepare requisition for buyer to procure required powder paint supply.
  • Keep supervisor informed on powder paint and related supply inventory.
  • Load and Unload product from the paint line and ensure conveyor to part continuity.
  • Manually paint all non-standard colours.
  • Inspect final product for cosmetic, coverage, cure, adhesion and thickness.
  • Perform tasks specific to the Wastewater Treatment including monitoring operation, system start-up/shut-down.
  • Prioritize jobs per required date or based on supervisor direction.
  • Regularly maintain equipment as per Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) sheet (Powder Booths/Pre Wash/Waste Water Treatment/or General Systems).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in operating powder coat paint systems or industrial paint line equipment
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is an asset.
  • Ability to perform standard work procedures and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience of utilizing mechanical tools and measuring equipment required for assembly.
  • Good problem solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder height.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
