Job description

Medical Doctors Only Apply. A Radiology Physician Diagnostic - Invasive Radiologist practice is seeking a qualified physician for Tampa, FL. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Vascular Interventional Radiologist position. National Hospital Based Radiology Group seeks Interventional Radiologist for growing practice. Position will be at one location - not rotating. AllegiantMD is a growing group of 60+ Hospital Based Radiologists. We have many sub-specialists on staff however all of our doctors read a wide mix of bread and butter CT, MR, US and PF. Almost all of our group is Fellowship Trained and read about 20-25% of their sub-specialty and there is a lot of back and forth between the doctors for studies best read by a specialist such as MSK MR or Cardiac CT for instance. We are on PACS with VR, and read from a common work list. Each diagnostic radiologist averages about 100-120 studies per day, with about 65% of that being PF. Women’s Imaging is preferred but not a deal breaker as well as light procedures such as basic biopsies, drainages, para’s, thora’s, etc. (every site has a dedicated IR for vascular or complex procedures). We have dedicated, in-house nighthawks who are part of our group providing final reads with an in-house IT staff available 24/7. These positions are due to growth as we have extremely low turn-over. Our group offers a competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance and malpractice paid 100% by the group, CME stipend, excellent retirement program and other fringes. Our group President is a radiologist with an MBA and we have several other radiologists and administrators with MBA’s, so the business side of the group is run very well with strong hospital contracts and an efficient business model. Most importantly, our group is run by the radiologists! Thank you, Donald P.
