Role and Responsibilities

Position Overview

This position oversees the Packaging Operations team and performs strategic planning, execution of Mobile product packaging and related value added service at the division level for the Mobile Production Center (MPC).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Planning team and Warehouse operation team.
  • Oversee 3PLs providing packaging labor and warehouse operation services to the SEA Packaging team, managing an average of 400 3PL staff year-round.
  • Develop and manage daily production plans, monitoring production results/performance daily.
  • Manage daily production plans and ensure optimal 3PL staff attendance rates.
  • Create a 10~12-week weekly production plan aligned with Sales teams' sales plans.
  • Develop a level-off labor plan to support weekly production plans, minimizing labor turnover for stable operations.
  • Develop daily goods receipt, production, and ship-out plans for initial launch volumes during new model launches.
  • Ensures timely, appropriate quantities, and precise quality packaging when introducing a new strategic model during the peak season.
  • Collaborate with HQ GMC (Global Manufacturing Center), HQ GOC, SEA Sales/SCM/Logistics teams to manage schedules and processes for local packaging operations.
  • Manage expanded packaging operations, including the integration of manufacturing postponement (SW download to devices) into existing processes.
  • Lead bulk device and packaging material warehouse operations, managing inventory (goods receipt, storage, and transfer) with 3PL staffs.
  • Make daily and weekly production plan decisions for HHP & Tablet, accessory, and PPM operations to meet Sales/Customer demands.
  • Determine the necessity of weekend and daily overtime operations based on production capacity.
  • Oversee and verify regular and ad-hoc 3PL invoices for timely processing with team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Ops, Quality Control, Economics or Finance, and 14+ years of related experience
  • 8-10 years of experience leading managers across multiple departments and functions
  • Requires bilingual (Korean and English) verbal and written communication skills
  • Working experience in a matrix organization of Fortune 500 companies
  • Ability to make decisions, direct, and measure individual/team performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree and 20+ years of relevant experience
  • Global work experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Spanish
