Allegiance Staffing is hiring Packaging Associates in the Cary, NC area!!
Position Summary
Packaging Associates support the packaging team by ensuring the production of high-quality products through effective execution of packaging tasks and adherence to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the packaging team in producing high-quality products by following established processes and safety standards.
  • Review daily work schedules and job specifications to ensure materials and instructions are properly understood.
  • Perform manual packaging tasks such as hand collating, final assembly, kit building, and product sequencing.
  • Place materials in the correct sequence and verify the accuracy and quality of packaging projects.
  • Handle finished products, pack materials on pallets, in cartons, or on carts, and prepare items for shipment.
  • Visually inspect products and promptly report any quality issues to the line lead.
  • Operate basic packaging equipment under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all company safety and housekeeping policies.
  • Adhere to company policies, security protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ISO requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support efficient and effective packaging operations.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including use of intranet and MIS systems.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
