About the Role:
We are seeking dependable part-time standby employees to join our packaging team! This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, on-call work — perfect for those who want extra hours or a foot in the door for future full-time or scheduled positions.

As a Standby Packager, you’ll be on-call to fill in when needed. You may receive a call asking you to report to work the same day or the next day at our Dearborn location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and prepare packaging materials such as boxes, crates, and containers.
  • Inspect packaging for defects including tears, cracks, or dents.
  • Ensure materials are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
  • Stack, palletize, and label materials accurately in accordance with work orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and review packing lists for completeness.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be available to accept same-day or next-day work assignments on an on-call basis.
