Job description

A leading international logistics and supply chain organization is seeking a driven and results-oriented Freight Forwarding Sales Account Manager In East El Paso to expand its customer base and drive revenue growth throughout the U.S.-Mexico border region.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background in freight forwarding, logistics, customs brokerage, or transportation services, along with exceptional sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business opportunities and achieve revenue growth objectives.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new customers requiring freight forwarding, warehousing, customs compliance, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, logistics managers, procurement professionals, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and develop customized logistics solutions that address operational challenges and business goals.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and pricing packages.
  • Negotiate service agreements and contracts while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, customs compliance, transportation, and warehouse teams to ensure successful onboarding and service execution.
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry regulations, and competitive activity affecting international trade and transportation.
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, industry associations, and customer meetings to promote company services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and retention.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth through cross-selling and upselling of logistics services.
  • Provide regular sales activity reports and updates to executive leadership.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of business development, account management, or outside sales experience within freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, customs brokerage, or supply chain services.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of international logistics, freight forwarding, cross-border transportation, customs processes, and supply chain solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel throughout the region to meet with clients and prospects.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience selling customs brokerage, warehousing, FTZ, transportation, or integrated logistics solutions.
