Production Assembler- 1st Shift
Location: Whitsett, NC
Shift: 1st Shift


About the Role
We are seeking detail-oriented Production & Assembly Technicians for our 1st Shift team in Whitsett, NC. In this role, you will perform high-precision assembly of server componentsincluding motherboards, CPUs, memory modules, and power supplieswhile supporting shop-floor efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Hardware Assembly: Assemble complex server components (motherboards, CPUs, RAM modules, storage devices, power supplies) following engineering drawings and work instructions.
Tool Operation: Utilize manual and automated tools for component installation, fastening, and torque setting.
Quality & Inspection: Perform visual and functional inspections on units to ensure strict compliance with specifications.
Process Tracking: Log production data, track assembly cycle times, and report defects or process deviations.
ESD & Cleanroom Standards: Maintain an organized, clean workspace adhering to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols.
Team Collaboration: Work with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot line issues and improve workflow efficiency.
Packaging: Assist in safe packaging and labeling of completed server units for shipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or Technical Certification required; Associate Degree in Electronics or Manufacturing is a plus.
Experience: Experience in electronics, server hardware assembly, or PC building is strongly preferred.
TechnicalAbility: Ability to read technical drawings/schematics and use basic diagnostic/hand tools.
Process Safety: Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures.
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, manual dexterity, and basic computer skills for data entry.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle server components safely.
