Job description

The ideal candidate is an exceptional video editor with a passion for PC hardware, gaming culture, and social media. They understand how to transform raw footage into compelling short-form content that captures attention in the first few seconds, maintains audience retention, and drives engagement across TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms. They are equally comfortable developing creative concepts, collaborating with product teams, and using analytics to continuously improve content performance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Create and communicate a regular production calendar that covers end-to-end content schedules, aligning with product and industry events as well as regular brand awareness and community engagement content.
  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
  • Transform product demonstrations, gameplay, event footage, interviews, and technical information into engaging, platform-native content.
  • Apply advanced editing techniques including pacing, motion graphics, sound design, color correction, captions, and visual effects to maximize viewer retention.
  • Develop creative concepts that educate, entertain, and inspire PC gamers and builders while showcasing CORSAIR products.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, technical marketing, social media, community, and creative teams to support product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Optimize videos for each platform's best practices, including format, runtime, captions, and publishing requirements.
  • Monitor performance using key metrics such as watch time, audience retention, engagement rate, completion rate, follower growth, shares, saves, and click-through rate, using those insights to improve future content.
  • Stay current on social media trends, editing styles, platform updates, AI production tools, and developments within the PC gaming and DIY hardware communities.
     

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of professional experience creating and editing short-form video content.
  • A portfolio of recent short-form work is required.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or equivalent professional editing software.
  • Strong understanding of short-form storytelling, retention-focused editing, and platform-specific content strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Deep knowledge of PC hardware, gaming, and the DIY PC building community, including hands-on PC building experience.
  • Strong creative thinking, communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting aggressive deadlines.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applicants with substantial knowledge of AI-based tools for editing and creating content will be given heavy priority. 
  • Experience creating content for a gaming, consumer technology, or PC hardware brand.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, animation, and visual effects.
  • Experience filming products, studio lighting, and camera operation.
  • Experience with live broadcast streams.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics platforms and performance reporting.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera or directing on-camera talent.
     

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing recent short-form video work. Successful portfolios should demonstrate exceptional editing, storytelling, pacing, and platform-native creative execution. Candidates should also be prepared to discuss their creative process, editing decisions, performance results, and how they use analytics to improve future content.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
