Robotics Technician


Hours:

1st shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Friday 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM


We are seeking a candidate with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude who can contribute effectively to our team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Consistently achieves high quality when working on Product assembly, modification, and/or system integration from documentation (prints, illustration, and schematics)
  • Display workmanship that meets process demand (including standard, Customer specification, and/or appropriate industrial standards).
  • Sequentially follow step by step instructions provided in Manufacturing Process Plan - Documenting all in-process checks.
  • Using engineering design documents – place, assemble, and secure robots and associated equipment in defined locations.
  • Move robot via teach pendant.
  • Load, upgrade, backup software.
  • Define or teach simple robot path.
  • Testing or functional verification of Products and/or Systems as defined (PDE EX testing, Engineer releases or Manufacturing Control plans)
  • Troubleshooting or debugging mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Disassembly and preparation of product and Systems for shipment.
  • Proper care and use of tools and compliance with Tool Management Procedure (check-out and return tooling daily)
  • Compliance with all Robot Safety Procedures (including but not limited to, Haz Mat, Lock out tag out and RSIS robot safety)
  • Reliable and consistent attendance required.
  • Maintain high level of professionalism in appearance, communication, and work area organization / cleanliness.
