Advantage Point Group, Inc. is looking to add an Owners Representative with Mechanical experience for a position at an industrial plant in Knoxville, IA to monitor construction on capital and plant maintenance projects.

Responsibilities
 As an Owners Rep you are liaison between engineering & construction contractors, overseeing contractors on site to ensure they are performing tasks safely and compliant with the contract. You will oversee contractors performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the owner and oversee permitting procedures. You will NOT be performing the maintenance and physical labor.
Requirements
  • 12 years previous experience in Industrial and/or Heavy Commercial work required.
  • Mechanical construction experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills & computer skills (Microsoft Office) required.
  • Must have the ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Start ASAP.
  • Day shift, 8-hour days with occasional extended hours and weekends. 
Competitive Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $50-$65 per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half paid for over 40 hours per week.
  • LOCAL candidates are encouraged to apply. NOT eligible for per diem.
