Job description

Provides deadlines for the manifest to all internal departments daily to ensure completion of the manifest files. Ensures that all vessel manifests are transmitted overseas and that MSC complies with all foreign customs' regulations and deadlines when transmitting the manifests overseas. Acts as the main contact for MSC USA with other agencies and MSC Geneva for all manifest files. Assists colleagues with DTX or manifest questions regarding errors and transmission of files.

The office is located at:ย 3445 N. Causeway Blvd, Suite 400, Metairie, LA 70002

Key Responsibilities

  • Works as a liaison between MSC Geneva, overseas MSC Agencies, Export Documentation, and other nationwide departments.
  • Provides accurate deadlines for manifests to be sent to Export documentation and TMS teams.
  • Transmits the manifests overseas to comply with overseas' customs deadliness.
  • Troubleshoots errors in manifests and manifest corrections.
  • Updates all sail dates for vessels to ensure correct shipped on board date is listed on the contract of carriage.
  • Performs other duties as required.
