What you'll be doing...
Manage the Mobile & Home and personalization architecture program. Deliver end-to-end solutions for the Mobile and Home program. Deliver comprehensive architecture for personalized experiences across various applications. Manage the design of the Mobile and Home modernization program, including integration with new partners and a complete redesign of the Fios architecture ecosystem. Coach and mentor cross-functional architecture teams, providing guidance to expand the Verizon EA 2.0 practice. Conduct Brown Bags and Webinars to continuously share knowledge and best practices with GTS and business stakeholders. Work with the architecture team to create solutions architecture diagrams and support high-level design documents (HLD) for Omni, personalization and Martech initiatives. Provide status updates and undertake architecture reviews to the executive leadership team for the Mobile and Home Program. Ensure use case and overall architecture alignment with roadmaps. Build long-lasting relationships with business teams to deeply understand their roadmaps, and strategic goals. Discover and prototype new technology solutions for systems of engagement, customer experience platform, and systems of insights. Review the latest technical offerings or developments in the industry and determine the fit for the Verizon ecosystem. Define methodologies, best practices, perform research and evaluate open source and vendor products in the most critical space of non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance and scalability.
What we're looking for...
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Technical Staff-System Architecture, Sr. Analyst, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 8 years in the following:
  • Designing and implementing Software & Systems Architecture;
  • Working as an Architect/Developer on Customer experience platforms and provisioning interfaces;
  • Performing workflow management and provisioning flows;
  • Creating solutions architecture diagrams and supporting high-level design documents (HLD);
  • Leading improvements in performance, reliability, scalability, and high availability of enterprise applications
  • Implementing modern authentication mechanisms, such as JWT; and
  • Applying advanced knowledge of enterprise-wide system relationships to lead teams of designers and architects in delivering successful system initiatives and projects.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the above position and skill sets.
